MY DAY TO PLAY –

A SPECIAL PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN
ON THE AUTISM SPECTRUM

 

My Day to Play provides a comfortable environment to learn and grow and to give families who face similar challenges a place to connect and encourages learning and exploration in a safe environment. We will be closed to the public and provide Sensory Discovery Boxes and Gross Motor Sensory Play.

Activities & Details

 

We will be closed to the public and provide Sensory Discovery Boxes and Gross Motor Sensory Play. Quiet space will be available as well as different sessions of Animal Time and a special science or art exploration activity, in addition to free play on all 3 floors of the museum!

Our community partner, the Maine Autism for Education and Research (MAIER), has created a Social Narrative – all about visiting Maine Discovery Museum. Click here to read and download.
